Observable universe being 93 b-light years across, why humans the only advanced life form to exist

First of all, the only thing you know about the universe is what some clown in a lab-coat told you on TV, or what they taught you in school. Nor are humans the only advanced, intelligent life-form in the universe. There are countless of species in the universe, all more advanced than humans.

Secondly, the speculations of modern scientists regarding stars and distances in the universe, is just that - wild speculations. It has nothing to do with the reality of the world. A scientist looking at distant stars through a telescope, is like an ant looking at a street-light through a set of binoculars.

Does an ant enhance it’s understanding of a street light by looking at it through a set of binoculars? Nope.

For instance, let me tell you how modern science came up with the vast distances of light-years. To measure the distance to another planet you need to triangulate its movements. This is possible with the planets in our solar-system, where we can observe their movements.

But when scientists observed distant stars through Hubble’s, they couldn’t detect any movements. This led them to think, they were so far away that their movements couldn’t be detected. So they came up with idea of red-shift, and began talking about distances in terms of light-years.

But the ideas of red-shift and the vast distances of light-years are nothing but the wild speculations of people, who have no idea what they are looking at. Of course, the media regularly pump out discoveries in space of black holes and new galaxies, they even show images (Photoshop creations, of course) of these things, and the mindless masses suck it up like butter-milk.

In reality, modern scientists have no idea what’s out there in the universe, nor do they know how old it is, nor how big it is. Why don’t they know that? Because they are conditioned souls, and as we all know, a conditioned soul is covered by four faults - his senses are limited, he is deluded, he has a tendency to cheat, and he commits mistakes.

According to the Vedic model, our universe is a little more than six billion kilometers in diameter, and it’s surrounded by vast layers of matter.

—but, but now a days we know.

Actually, regarding that which is beyond our direct sensual perception, we know jack-squat. For such matters, it’s entirely a question of what authority we choose to accept.

When it comes to matters concerning the universal space that surrounds our planet, most people accept the authority of modern science. Personally, I accept the authority of the Vedic sages.

In the Vedic version the universe is described as finite. Our particular universe is six billion kilometers in diameter. These six billion kilometers of space are encased in eight material layers consisting of earth, water, fire, air, ether, mind, intelligence, and false ego. These eight elements are the material elements from which the world is composed.

The first layer of covering is the same as the diameter of the universe - six billion kilometers. The next layer is 10 times that, the following layer is 10 times that, and so on.

The material layers covering the universal space are so thick, that our universe is something like a pea placed in the middle of a football field. It’s is not an exact analogy, it is just to give an idea of how thick are the layers covering the universe.

Outside of the material universes is the infinite spiritual sky.

Krishna says:

Earth, water, fire, air, ether, mind, intelligence and false ego -- all together these eight constitute My separated material energies. —Bg 7.4

Srila Prabhupada explains:

The science of God analyzes the constitutional position of God and His diverse energies. Material nature is called prakriti, or the energy of the Lord in His different purusa incarnations (expansions) as described in the Satvata-tantra:

"For material creation, Lord Krishna's plenary expansion assumes three Vishnus. The first one, Maha-Vishnu, creates the total material energy, known as the mahat-tattva. The second, Garbhodakasayi Vishnu, enters into all the universes to create diversities in each of them. The third, Ksirodakasayi Vishnu, is diffused as the all-pervading Supersoul in all the universes and is known as Paramatma. He is present even within the atoms. Anyone who knows these three Vishnus can be liberated from material entanglement."

This material world is a temporary manifestation of one of the energies of the Lord. All the activities of the material world are directed by these three Vishnu expansions of Lord Krishna. These purushas are called incarnations.

Generally one who does not know the science of God (Krishna) assumes that this material world is for the enjoyment of the living entities and that the living entities are the purusas -- the causes, controllers and enjoyers of the material energy.

According to Bhagavad-gita this atheistic conclusion is false. In the verse under discussion it is stated that Krishna is the original cause of the material manifestation. Srimad-Bhagavatam also confirms this. The ingredients of the material manifestation are separated energies of the Lord.

Even the brahmajyoti, which is the ultimate goal of the impersonalists, is a spiritual energy manifested in the spiritual sky. There are no spiritual diversities in the brahmajyoti as there are in the Vaikunthalokas, and the impersonalist accepts this brahmajyoti as the ultimate eternal goal. The Paramatma manifestation is also a temporary all-pervasive aspect of the Kshirodakasayi Vishnu.

The Paramatma manifestation is not eternal in the spiritual world. Therefore the factual Absolute Truth is the Supreme Personality of Godhead Krishna. He is the complete energetic person, and He possesses different separated and internal energies.

In the material energy, the principal manifestations are eight, as above mentioned. Out of these, the first five manifestations, namely earth, water, fire, air and sky, are called the five gigantic creations or the gross creations, within which the five sense objects are included. They are the manifestations of physical sound, touch, form, taste and smell.

Material science comprises these ten items and nothing more. But the other three items, namely mind, intelligence and false ego, are neglected by the materialists. Philosophers who deal with mental activities are also not perfect in knowledge because they do not know the ultimate source, Krishna.

The false ego -- "I am," and "It is mine," which constitute the basic principle of material existence -- includes ten sense organs for material activities. Intelligence refers to the total material creation, called the mahat-tattva.

Therefore from the eight separated energies of the Lord are manifest the twenty-four elements of the material world, which are the subject matter of Sankhya atheistic philosophy; they are originally offshoots from Krishna's energies and are separated from Him, but atheistic Sankhya philosophers with a poor fund of knowledge do not know Krishna as the cause of all causes.

The subject matter for discussion in the Sankhya philosophy is only the manifestation of the external energy of Krishna, as it is described in the Bhagavad-gita.
